Three services, one case file.

Every case moves through the same three services — handled as one continuous file, not three separate jobs handed between organizations.

Documentation & preparation for transport

We gather every certificate and permit both countries require, and coordinate the physical preparation of the deceased — embalming or cremation, and a container that meets the receiving country’s and carrier’s standards — so the case is legally and physically ready to move.

Consular permits Certified translations Licensed embalmers Compliant containers
What’s included
  • Death certificate registration, coordinated with the local physician or registrar
  • Embalming or cremation, arranged with a licensed local partner to the receiving country’s standard
  • Consular mortuary permit (“free to travel” authorization) from the destination country
  • Certified translation of every certificate into the destination country’s language
  • Health or non-contagious disease certificate, where the destination requires one
  • Casket or container selected and verified against destination and carrier requirements
  • Export documentation filed with origin customs

Ground transport

For neighbouring or nearby countries, and for the final mile at either end of an air route, we arrange licensed hearse or refrigerated transport with a permit filed for every border it crosses — not only the origin and destination.

Cross-border permits Refrigerated transport Door-to-door Airport transfers
What’s included
  • Hearse or refrigerated vehicle, licensed for cross-border mortuary transport
  • Transit permits filed for every country along the route
  • Customs clearance managed at each individual border crossing
  • Coordination with the local funeral home at both pickup and drop-off
  • Case status shared with the family and coordinator as it moves
  • Final-mile transfer between an airport cargo terminal and the receiving funeral home, when paired with air transport

Air transport

For intercontinental or long-distance moves, we book the case as cargo with an airline’s human remains handling desk, in an IATA-compliant container, and manage every connection until it clears customs at destination.

IATA-compliant Cargo booking Connecting flights Cargo mortuary handling
What’s included
  • Cargo booking with the airline’s human remains handling desk, not a passenger reservation
  • Container preparation to IATA and the specific carrier’s standards
  • Air waybill and the full document package travelling with the case
  • Coordination of connecting flights when no direct route is available
  • Reception and customs clearance through the destination airport’s cargo mortuary facility
  • Hand-off arranged to ground transport or the receiving funeral home on arrival

Not sure which mode fits your case? Distance, border count, and how quickly documentation clears usually decide it. We confirm the right one on the first call.
